Our first Hewletts Creek Stakeholder Social was a hit! Attendees filled the Captain’s Lounge at the beautiful Bluewater Waterfront Grill in Wrightsville Beach. We enjoyed a night of valuable networking and important conversations surrounding the shared desire to rehabilitate Hewletts Creek.
Executive Director Chad Thomas provided a promising update on the Foundation’s efforts to kickstart the restoration of a creek that so many call home. These efforts include meetings with researchers at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Attendees also received an exclusive look at the conceptual plan we contracted local engineers to develop.
